This past January, I started my new job at iHeartRadio in the promotions and marketing department as a part of the Nashville team.
As a promotions and marketing team member, I have navigated experience in executing promotions such as remotes, events, van appearances, and other team activities. Activating promotional events through games and music, interacting with attendees at promotional events, and capturing recap promotional events via photo and video has given me a more robust insight into this facet of the industry.
In the past few months I have worked various concerts. Some notable ones include Olivia Rodrigo, Dan + Shay, Tim McGraw, and Morgan Wallen.
Working simultaneously with my Nashville team at school and the New York team here at home has given me a broad overview of what being an iHeart community member looks like. The community at iHeart is diverse; they value collaboration, curiosity, welcoming dissent, acceptance, and respect. iHeartMedia is committed to creating an internal culture that cultivates and celebrates diversity and inclusion at every level of our company, to ensure that we fully reflect the differences of the communities in which we live and work.
