Working with the non-profit Attitudes in Reverse changed my life. Invited to speak directly to High School students directly about the dangers of cyberbullying and encouraging them to understand the effects that bullying has on their friends and classmates and also the power of opening up about their feelings to their counselors has given me insight into this global problem. Alongside their school counselors, advisors, and teachers we spoke openly about the topic of mental health, bullying, and teen suicide. Mental Health should be talked about and acknowledged more and conversations need to be started in order to break the stigma.
